Albuquerque in July
Gage Anderson
So suddenly comes that torrential wrath
Of the monsoon’s weeping clouds.
I find myself caught beneath that oppressive gray,
And pining for the chance of love once more.
I cried in the car,
On the damp seat with my head against the wheel.
So suddenly comes that torrential wrath
Of a lover’s warmth now gone.
